We transfer, copy and convert camcorder video tapes to DVD and Editable Digital File Formats.
All camcorder formats catered for including

All the above video formats were popular in their day, and, apart from MiniDV, are now completely obsolete.
Under typical storage conditions, camcorder tapes will have a life of around 20 years, after which, significant image degradation will become apparent. In damp or humid conditions, degradation and damage can occur within 5 years.
The obvious message here is don't delay! Get your camcorder tapes to us as soon as possible and ensure that your precious family memories are not lost forever.
We use industry standard TBC (Time Base Correction) equipment and decks to eliminate wobbly and jittery videos. The result is a new digital copy of your precious home movie recordings that you, your family and your friends will be able to cherish for ever.
Camcorder Tape Repair
We fix broken and damaged camcorder video tapes.
We can resplice snapped chewed up and mangled video tape as well as well as repairing broken cassette housing. As part of the process the contents of the tape are transferred to DVD.
Please note that we do not fix broken camcorder cameras.
Camcorder PAL-NTSC
PAL to NTSC Video Conversions
We can convert any PAL (UK Standard) camcorder tape to NTSC TV Standards (for USA, Japan etc).
We can transfer NTSC MiniDV camcorder tapes to PAL. For other NTSC to PAL conversion services please call for availability.
Camcorder MP4 Files
Camcorder Computer Editable Digital files in DV AVI, .Mov, Quick Time, MP4 etc.
Some of our customers require editable files from the camcorder tapes for editing on a PC or MAC.
We normally supply editable MP4 files which can play on both systems.
Our editable MP4 Files can be converted into any digital file format for use on any computer system or program, and for viewing on You Tube, IPad and iPhone
Editable file sizes can be very large so you may need to supply an external hard drive or large capacity USB stick - we can also USB sticks at cost.
Prices
Camcorder video transfer costs £20 per tape.
You can choose to have the video footage encoded to DVD so that it will play on you TV system and home computer.
Alternatively, you can have the video footage as a digital AVI file for home computer editing.
If you give us 6 to 10 videos there is a 25% discount - just £15 per tape.
If you give us 11 or more video tapes there is a 50% discount - just £10 per tape.
